Marianna Marks
Award-winning public relations consultant Marianna Marks has 10.5 years experience as a communication specialist. Her core skill is the ability to understand the expertise clients apply to the benefit of their customers and interpret this for various target audiences.
Leading the winning team in the 2006 Chartered Institute of Public Relations Pride Awards in the Business to Business category, Marianna has extensive experience in both mainstream and trade media. She has worked in the private and public sectors in her home country of Namibia, before relocating and working in consultancies in Cape Town, South Africa and then Cardiff.
She has provided regular specialist media consultancy services to companies active in the financial services, information and communications technology (ICT) industry, technology companies (manufacturing, construction and engineering), property developers, broad-based consumer brands and learning and development.
Marianna’s strength is her ability to gather complex material and interpret it in a way that is easily understood by the client’s key audiences. She is able to ‘translate’ the same material in different ways to suit the needs of different publications.
