Clarify your needs

Defining who or what you are is like a journey of self-discovery. Sometimes it can also be challenging and time-consuming.

At the very least, you need to clarify the following:

  • What is your fundamental purpose i.e. your mission?
  • What are the benefits and features of your products or services?
  • What do those who matter think about you?
  • What do you want them to think?

The last two bullet points illustrate the need for research – it is simply not good enough to think you know what people think about you, know what they think!

Once you have determined who you are or want to be, it is time to get the word out there.

Remember a ‘brand’ is not just a logo; it is your attitude, your policies and even your business processes!

Often companies are so worried about their external image that they forget to communicate this to their people which can lead to mixed messages. At M & M Communications we can help you ensure all of your staff are ‘on board’, believe in and can communicate your brand and key messages when required

We also believe in the value of being socially responsible and can help you determine how best to implement a CSR policy from choosing suppliers to giving back to the local community.

As with everything else we do, simplicity is the key. Your messages may be complex, but the way you communicate them needs to be simple and consistent.
